LATTE ART TRAINING PROGRAMS

Latte Art is an essential skill for any barista working with an espresso machine at a coffee bar. A delicious cup of coffee, besides a good espresso-based, need the "look" factor which is extremely important to the customer's perception. The art of the cup of Latte or Cappucino is becoming increasingly important, directly influencing the impression of the customer. Therefore, the recruitment criteria for coffee shops require Latte Art skills, especially when you wish to work in foreign cafes. In Latte Art Foundation course, students will be taught the skill of pouring basic art on a cup of Latte, with carefully guiding, you will be instructed step by step to perfect your Latte Art skill. After the course, students can also return to practice unlimitedly at D’codeS to confidently apply to any coffee shop.

COURSE CONTENT

Day 1:

Milk classification and precautions when using milk.

The process of making Latte Art.

Classification of milk jugs.

Milk frothing technique.

How to pour Heart pattern.

 

Day 2:
Control milk flow rate techniques. Definitions and evaluate art positioning.

Test pouring heart shape.

How to pour Tulip pattern.
 

Day 3:

Wiggle technique

How to pour Rosetta pattern

* Note, many students wondered if they could make a shape in 3 sessions? All of our trainees can create these patterns successfully in 3 sessions. However, to detailly adjust so that the image is balanced and sharp, students need to maintain more practice after the course. 

SESSION 1:

- Knowledge Review: Test and correct your milk frothing technique and test making heart shape.

- Instructions to correct and re-shape the heart if needed.

SESSION 2:

Instructions about Milk Pitcher, posture while making Latte Art

- Evaluate the shape of the stroke corresponding to the shaping purposes

- How to carry a milk pitcher and standard milk pouring posture in Latte Art

Understand milk flow and how to create background for Latte Art

- Excellent background creation principle

– Difference background on different shapes.  

Make a multi-layered tulip

- How to practice 6-8-storey tulips


SESSION 3:

Creating Rosetta and Swan ​

- Adjust wings and milk flow

- Practice making Rosetta (Rosetta mini, Multi-layer rosetta)

- Practice making Swan

SESSION 4:

Latte Art Free Pour 

- Rules on Free Pour in Latte Art competitions

- Milk, milk temperature, background and positions in a cup 

- Practice making Squirrel and Rabbit

SESSION 5:

Test
